The work on this site consists mostly of recent pieces inspired by the colors and natural earth forms found in the red rock canyons of southern Utah. Please take time to browse through the photos of the landscapes and my interpretations of the forms, colors and textures of my favorite places.

The sculptural works reflect the color and the geologic processes that have formed the rugged but ordered landscape of southern Utah’s canyon country.

My functional pieces are influenced by the the nature of clay, its plastic quality and the serendipitous alteration of the clay and glazed surface in the firing process.
